The River Learning Trust is responsible for The Cherwell OTSA SCITT, a teacher training organisation that was accredited by the National College for Teaching and Leadership in July 2014. We work with schools across Oxfordshire to train teachers in primary, secondary and special school settings. As a school led organisation we are always keen to recruit and train the very best individuals who we hope will go on to become excellent teachers in our partnership of schools. We operate under the title 'Oxfordshire Teacher Training' and all the details of our programmes can be found at http://www.oxfordshireteachertraining.co.uk. The SCITT is based at The Cherwell School and the majority of the central training happens there, and we are currently working with about 60 Oxfordshire schools.
Train to teach with The Cherwell OTSA SCITT and get paid while you train.
The Cherwell OTSA SCITT is based at The Cherwell School and runs salaried and non-salaried teacher training programmes. We work with schools across Oxfordshire to recruit and train teachers for Oxfordshire schools. There are significant salaries and bursaries available for many of our programmes.
